Leafy stalks and blooming garlands intertwine in arabesques on this hand hooked, crewel-inspired rug. The Monaco design is offered in a choice of colors. In the red colorway, burnt red and cream set the background for the garlands of cumin, sage, and marigold. Made from 100 percent wool and hooked by hand, the rug is durable and attractive, with a 100-percent-cotton backing. Use of a rubberized rug pad is recommended to prevent slippage on smooth flooring and to preserve the life of the rug.
The versatile pattern and colors give the rug suitability for use in the hallway, living room, dining room, bedroom, den, or foyer. It is offered in a variety of sizes for easy outfitting of any space: 2′3-by-7′10, 3′6-by-5′6, 5′-by-8′, and 7′6-by-9′6.
Care instructions: Professional carpet cleaning is recommended. For at home care, spot clean with a mild carpet cleaning solution for wool and let it air dry. Do not dry clean the rug, and do not use a beater bar on it.

I have purchased four of these rugs (2 runners and 2 3×5’s) for my kitchen. The blues and yellows are the perfect colors for French Country and the additional green just makes the rugs pop! The dense wool is amazing for the price and they spot clean exceptionally well. I have been purchasing rugs for this area for the past nine years and these are, by far, my favorites.
